Editorial policy: who writes these pages and how facts get checked
Every page on viter.io is published under my name, Ben Friedman, and I am responsible for what it says. Every page goes through my review, sentence by sentence, before it is published.
How facts are checked
Claims about Atlassian, Monday.com or any other vendor are checked against the vendor’s own documentation while the page is drafted, not afterwards. Each page lists those documents in a Sources block, with the month they were last checked. Statistics carry their source and date in the sentence that uses them.
Claims about my own work
Anything a page says about my work, clients, numbers or products comes from a single internal fact file that I keep and confirm. If a claim is not in that file, it is not published. Client names appear only with permission, and case studies without permission are anonymised so the client cannot be identified.
Reviews are quoted word for word from verified Fiverr reviews, with the reviewer’s handle and country. They are never edited, combined or averaged.
When pages are updated
A page shows an updated date only when something significant changed: the main content, a fact, or the structure. Typo fixes do not move the date. When a vendor changes a product a guide describes, the guide is rechecked and its Sources date moves with it.
Corrections
If you find something wrong, write to hello@viter.io. Corrections are made on the page itself, and a factual correction updates the page date.
